We provide bookkeeping services in a broad scope (gather information, reviewing, recording accounting documents, reporting…). We can assume any task related to the accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, fixed assets management, payroll and tax accounting etc. In some cases, we even produce the sales invoices of our clients, specially when they need to follow a special format, like electronic invoices for public works, which are xlm files.
We will produce the official records required by the Spanish Law: year end accounts to be filed in the Registrar of Companies, official registers (journal, ledger, trial balance….) which must also be filed at the Registrar of companies. Besides this, we will prepare any reporting pack as required by our clients.
We use any cloud accounting software that our clients prefer like Xero, Zoho books, Odoo… (although we strongly advocate for Xero) or we can use the standard accounting Spanish packages (SAGE, A3, Anfix). We prefer to avoid on site work so the standard way to get the accounting information is to share folders in the cloud where our clients upload all the accounting documents.
Our fee depends on the workload involved (as all professionals, we sell time). In turn, this depends on the number of transactions, suppliers, customers, employees, turnover, type of transactions (domestic, cross border, currency). We prefer to fix a monthly flat fee arrangement based on the work involved, albeit some clients may want to use other systems, like one off job or per invoice rates.
